9 Reasons to Love the Updated 2022 Ford Bronco

The 2022 Ford Bronco looks as cool as it performs. The upgraded Bronco blends retro design cues with everything that is high tech, high performance, and functional style. Check out 9 reasons to love the updated 2022 Ford Bronco. more 1. Built for Climbing and Crawling The 2022 Bronco is built with aggressive approach and departure angles that allow the crossover to climb up steep surfaces and grapple down deep drop-offs. The breakover angle is the imaginary angle created from the middle of the underbody to where the front and rear wheels touch the ground. The Bronco has the best breakover angle in its class. In short, the Bronco is a rock crawler. 2. Underbody Bash Protection Bash plates on the underbody and under the engine protect critical components of your 2022 Bronco as you crawl over steep and gnarly terrain. A steel front bash plate is available to boost off-road capability. 3. Sideways Support Side rock rails are also available that can support each side of your Bronco. Your Bronco won't get all bent out of shape if your wheels are off the ground. 4. G.O.A.T Modes The Bronco comes with a terrain management system that offers seven driving modes, cleverly called Go Over Any Terrain Modes. The driving modes change engine, drivetrain, and steering performance to tackle different surfaces. The driving modes include selections for slippery, muddy, sandy, rocky, and typical road surfaces. There is also an economy option to conserve fuel and increase driving range. 5. Roof Options The 2022 Bronco has hard and soft roof options. The soft top is standard on the four-door with an available hardtop, or you can have both. The two-door models come estandard with a hardtop. Hard or soft, all roofs are removable, as are all doors. 6. Rim Size and Style Options 16-inch steel rims are the starting point for seven other optional wheel choices. Available rims come in a variety of designs for style and purpose. Buyers have access to one set of 18-inch rims and 11 sets of cool 17-inch wheels, depending on the trim or additional package. 7. Technology Options The 2022 Bronco is stacked with tech that includes everything from the SYNC 4 infotainment system and Ford Co-Pilot360 suite of driver-assistance technologies to FordPass and Off-Road Navigation, and everything in between. The 2022 Bronco will keep you entertained, informed, keep you safe and make you a better driver. FordConnected Services will keep you in control of your Bronco even if you are far away. 8. Off-Road Accessories and Equipment There are plenty of items to accessorize your Bronco. Bimini soft tops, tube doors, factory-fitted roof racks, and a heavy-duty front bumper are just a few. Once you have the bumper with integrated forward sensing proximity detectors, your Bronco is ready for more. Equipment extras include a heavy-duty winch, a safari bar, and pod lights. 9. Interior Options and Accessories Options available for the interior of your new 2022 Bronco include an array of natural palette colors and durable materials. Base cloth, marine-grade vinyl, and luxury leather-trimmed seats are surrounded by rubberized flooring and durable polymers. Accessories and features include a 12-volt outlet, center console grab handles, and a flexible rack system integrated into the back of the front seats to stow personal effects. Car Battery

6 Signs You Need a New Car Battery

Few things are more frustrating for drivers than a dead car battery. Your Blackfoot, ID Ford dealer has seen plenty of this particular problem and is here to help. Find out how to tell when you'll need to switch that older model out for a new car battery. Here are 6 signs you need a new car battery! more 1. Lagging Startup Your battery helps start your car. If your vehicle takes some time to rev up and get going in cold weather, that outcome is often to be expected. If the same problem happens in normal warm weather, however, your battery may be showing signs of wear and tear. If the issue continues untreated, sooner rather than later the car may not start at all. 2. No Startup This issue may seem obvious, but if your car does not start your battery may need a check-up. The battery's possible role in your predicament is particularly suspect if your radio and lights are operational but you get no response when you turn the ignition. Weakened batteries often give off just enough power to supply these car accessories while being unable to crank the engine. 3. Indicator Issues That little chime you hear when you put the keys in your car or that domed interior light that provides some visibility can be important determinants of your battery's health. If either seems weaker than usual, your battery may be failing. When the battery completely drains out, neither the chime nor the dome light will work. Dash lights or headlights may also flicker, becoming dim with an idling engine and bright with a revved engine. In addition, if you have power windows they might operate more slowly when you have the engine turned off. Finally, always keep an eye on that “check engine” light. If it brightens up, your battery could be one of a few possible sources of concern. 4. Frequent Jumpstart Needed Due to a Dead Battery Most drivers at one time have accidentally left lights on or needed a jumpstart for another reason. If the jumpstarting becomes chronic, though, a battery replacement may soon be in order. If the jumps are essential for starting the car in the morning, the problem may be especially pressing. Either cold weather or a parasitic drain on your battery like a faulty alternator or relay could be killing its capacity. 5. Deteriorating Appearance Sometimes the battery itself is the most obvious symptom. If you look at the battery and notice a great deal of corrosion and deterioration, the battery is likely reaching the end of its lifespan. Damaging corrosion usually shows up around the cables and battery terminals. It presents as a bluish or greenish powder in these areas. Also, keep in mind that a harmful hydrogen gas buildup can give a compromised battery a bloated or swollen appearance.  A battery older than seven or eight years is more likely to have any of the aforementioned issues. 6. Funky Smell A battery leaking battery acid can give off a rotten egg odor. Do not touch the acid, but do get your battery checked by a professional as soon as possible. Have you noticed any of these 6 signs you need a new car battery in your current vehicle? Put your battery and your ride in trusted hands.
