2022 Ford Ranger

The Ranger comes in three trims, the XL, XLT, and the top-tier Lariat. You can choose from two bed and cab configurations to create the ideal Ranger for your lifestyle. The SuperCab, which can seat up to four people, comes with a 6-foot truck bed and has a cargo box volume of 51.8 cubic feet. The SuperCrew cab, which can seat up to five people, has four full doors, a 5-foot bed, and a cargo box volume of 43.3 cubic feet. All three of the Ford Ranger trims come equipped with one engine. Powering the Ranger is a 2.3-liter twin-scroll turbocharged EcoBoost four-cylinder engine that creates 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. A 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission pairs with the engine.

Rear-wheel drive comes standard across the Ranger lineup, or you can choose the optional four-wheel-drive system when you need to tackle uneven terrain or slippery roads. Key features of this package include off-road suspension, skid plates, tow hooks, 9.7 inches of ground clearance, and its own trail control terrain management system. The 2022 Ranger is built to work tough and haul loads. When properly equipped, this midsize pickup truck can tow up to 7,500 pounds with a payload capacity of up to 1,860 pounds.
