Charging is relatively simple. The F-150 Lightning comes with a Ford Mobile Power Cord for charging at home and on the go using either a 120V or 240V plug. You can also install a Ford Connected Charge Station to maximize home charging speeds and stay on the road. If you do go out into the world, no need to fear-- Lightning owners can access the Blue Oval Charge Network, the largest network of electric vehicle chargers in North America. Choose one of over 19,500 charging stations nationwide, and with fast charging capabilities you'll be back on the road with 80% battery in less than 45 minutes!
Built Ford Tough(er)
If that wasn't enough, the F-150 Lightning lives up to the same impressive performance standards of any Ford truck. The Standard-Range battery pulls 426 horsepower, while the Extended-Range battery ticks up to 563 horsepower, with a surprising 775-lb-ft of torque for both battery versions. Acceleration is said to be zero-to-sixty in around 4.5 seconds, right ahead of the fastest F-150 available, the F-150 Raptor. It can tow up to an impressive 10,000lbs with the Extended Range battery. With the basic battery pack, it has a max payload of up to 2,000lbs. No matter how you cut it, the Ford F-150 Lightning represents a major achievement in all-electric engineering!
