2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty

There are six trim levels available for the Ford F-250 Super Duty: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited. A standard cab, an extended cab (sometimes known as a SuperCab), and a crew cab are the three body options. The XL model comes standard with 17-inch steel wheels, black plastic external trim, and black-painted steel front and rear bumpers. 18-inch alloy wheels and chrome front and back bumpers are included with the XLT model. The Lariat classes things up with more visual adjustments, 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels, body-color door handles, and a few touches of chrome. The King Ranch trim includes 18-inch bright-finished alloy wheels, a rear accent color, and a front and back bumper with step pads. The Platinum package also comes with 20-inch polished alloy wheels and a body-color front and back bumper. In addition to the identical wheel design, the Limited-edition trim level has a slick chrome-bar grille and a panoramic sunroof.

The F-250 is available in three powertrain options, all of which are RWD standard with 4WD optional. Mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, a 6.2-liter gasoline V-8 with 385 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque is starting choice. A 7.3-liter V-8 engine with 430 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque is also available, mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. A 6.7-liter power stroke turbodiesel V-8 is also available, mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission and producing 475 horsepower and 1,050 pound-feet of torque.

The F-250 is comfortable and rides securely, with quiet and smooth acceleration under a variety of conditions. Thanks to sensitive stop pedals, steering is easy at low speeds and in confined places. The F-250 Super Duty's maximum towing capacity can reach up to 20,000 lbs. with the turbo-diesel and related equipment, and potentially 22,800 lbs. with that same engine and a fifth-wheel gooseneck variant.

The 2022 Ford Super Duty is available in both normal and extended cab variants. There is seating for up to three in the regular cab F-250 or two with a large center console. Extended-cab vehicles include seating for up to six. As for seat and cabin material, upholstery varies from vinyl at the base to two-tone leather on the F-250 Limited. All models except for the base XL (4.2-inch infotainment screen), come standard with an 8.0-inch touch-screen infotainment system, with features like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, built-in navigation, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.

The 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty has excellent safety ratings from trusted organizations. Mandatory, modern features like advanced multi-stages air bags are, along with various other truck-handy driver aids available in trims or packages. These include adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring with trailer coverage, front automated emergency braking, trailer sway control, and a 360-degree view camera system for easier parking.
