At Tadd Jenkins Auto Group, we strive to be dealerships where small town values endure. A huge part of this commitment is staying involved in our Southeast Idaho community, both by donating to charitable causes and by participating in local events that are near and dear to our hearts. Each year, the team at Tadd Jenkins raises and gives away over $100,000 for local organizations and plays a visible role in helping make our community a great place to live!.
Read on to learn more about some of our contributions to our local communities:
Down Syndrome Awareness Month- If you come to our dealership in October, you might wonder why our entire staff is wearing two different color shoes! For the entire month, the team wears blue and gold shoes to spread awareness about Down Syndrome and to help raise money for the East ID Down Syndrome Family Connect, which helps local families connect with resources for their children with Down Syndrome. Last year, we donated $100 per car sold for the month of October, raising over $12,000 in donations!
Taddsgiving- Each year the team at Tadd Jenkins Auto Group donates a turkey to local food banks for every car sold at our dealerships during November and December! Last year, we gave over 400 turkeys to the Community Dinner Table, which distributed them to families throughout Southeast Idaho to help fight hunger and spread cheer!
Local Giveaways- The Auto Group also gives away several cars, prizes and money each year to members of the local community on their Facebook pages!
Jefferson County Spirit of Freedom- As an organization proud of its American roots, Tadd Jenkins Auto Group loves to help celebrate the 4th of July! For the past decade, TJ Auto Group has sponsored the Jefferson County Spirit of Freedom celebration’s Spectacular Fireworks Show in Rigby!
Parades & Rodeos- Throughout the year, our team participates in parades throughout the Southeast Idaho region. We kick things off with the Jefferson County Stampede & Parade in Rigby, 4th of July Parades in Idaho Falls and Rigby, Atomic Days in Arco, and end the year on a jolly note with the Christmas Lights Parade in Rigby.
Eastern Idaho State Fair- Tadd Jenkins Auto Group is a proud sponsor of the Eastern Idaho State Fair! Because it happens in Blackfoot, home to one of our dealerships, the team can be seen everywhere from walking in the Eastern Idaho State Fair Parade, to looking at livestock at the EISF Junior Market Animal Sale, and even to acting as a main sponsor for the fair’s biggest event, the Gem State Classic Pro Rodeo!
Wall of Warmth- The team at Tadd Jenkins Auto Group also collects coats for the Wall of Warmth coat drive. Hundreds of coats are gathered by the community and distributed to people in need throughout the region each winter!
Other Local Organizations- But that’s not all! In addition to all the time and money for the events above, we also give to other local charitable organizations. Some examples include the Bingham County Humane Society, Blackfoot Animal Shelter, Blackfoot Elk’s Lodge, Blackfoot Chamber of Commerce, Idaho Falls Bandits, City of Rigby and the Forever Young Foundation, but the list goes on!
As you can see, the Tadd Jenkins Auto Group team loves to keep busy and get involved! When we’re not showing the world how new Chevrolet, Ford, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep & Rams cost less in Rigby and Blackfoot, or when we’re not selling the best used cars, trucks and SUVS on the market, you can find our team members lending a hand in local churches, sports leagues and theatres. We’re always excited to get involved in our communities, including places like Idaho Falls, Blackfoot, Pocatello, Chubbuck, Ammon, Shelley, Firth, Rigby, Rexburg, Fort Hall and Arco.
